These large White South Sea Saltwater Cultured Pearls are from the mollusc Pinctada maxima (silver lipped pearl oyster) that grow in the warm waters of the Western Pacific. The pearls are near round shaped, nearly 12mm in diameter, high in lustre with have lovely silver overtones. The swing mounting and hooks are hand made of 18ct white gold, the short drop is 11mm from the top of the loop to the top of the pearl and are specially designed to fit snugly on the earlobes, so as not to detract from the natural beauty of the "South Pacific" pearls.
