Eva Green White South Sea Saltwater Cultured Pearl Ring

White South Sea Saltwater Cultured Pearl Ring of unusual design. The 18k white gold band splits like precious tentacles that hold the South Sea pearl aloft and trap beneath it a brilliant cut diamond to contrast the tapered cut diamonds (I-J colour/SI1 clarity) on the band. Channel setting is used to arrange these dazzling tapered cut diamonds to creates a sleek elegant appearance, Channel setting also protects diamonds very well, as there are no exposed edges. The centred pearl is a 9mm in diameter, a natural white colour with lovely silver and rose overtones, a saltwater cultured pearl from the mollusc Pinctada maxima (silver lipped pearl oyster that grow in the tropical waters of the Western Pacific. The pearl is near round shaped with lovely colour and lustre and is a lovely example of remote Australian atolls and South Sea saltwater cultured pearls.
